Crane arm always in balance This crane is always balanced in all positions of the crane arm, i.e., when lifting, it only requires the energy needed to lift the material, but not power for the crane arm. This principle enables energy savings of approx. 75% compared to diesel-powered handling equipment (excavators) and approx. 35% compared to conventional, electrically powered cranes. It also protects the entire crane structure, including the slewing ring, as the forces are distributed from the front of the grab to the rear of the counterweight.
With “semi-mobile” crane base If the balance crane is equipped with the “semi-mobile” base, the crane can be moved to another location at any time. Another advantage is that no foundation needs to be built and therefore no static calculations are necessary.
Material handling with electric drive Since 1965, Baljer & Zembrod has consistently relied on electric drives for all its handling equipment. Compared to diesel drives, there are clear advantages for stationary use: lower energy consumption, lower maintenance costs, longer maintenance intervals. And in indoor operation, there is another benefit: electric drives produce zero emissions.
