The portal crane completes our product range of electrically-driven carriages on rails. Like the round wood transferal carriage (RUW), the portal crane is also developed for fast handling of round wood.

The crane can drive crosswise on the portal for a reach of more than 50 m. Because it’s powered electrically instead of by diesel, energy and maintenance costs are significantly reduced. In addition, the operator can fully concentrate on the handling, since the route is predetermined by the rails, which saves time and thus operating costs.
